A friend lives on the north shore and they’d like to put in some plants for yellow-faced bee. They’re wondering if there are any maps showing whether any remnant populations exist where they live to ensure their efforts are worth it. Any suggestions?

I planted this coconut >6 years ago. Showing no signs of flowering. Do I just need to be more patient? Aside from my roving containers of guinea pigs, I don’t fertilize (I try to limit fertilizers to protect the watershed). Thoughts? Suggestions?

I understand Acacia koa is best left unpruned. Does anyone know whether the same goes for Acacia koaia?
